SELF-ASSESMENT



This course I have learnt many vocabulary and I have improved the grammar and the translation. I will practice the listening with music.
I really liked the dynamic of the class with the teachers. I have liked the easy going of the tachers in all the classes. Clarissa has helped us too. I have learnt many day to day things and all about the asignature.
This course I had a great time with my friends and also with the teachers.
I'm ready to strat a new fascinating course.

ADJECTIVES
Talkative: it talks too much.
Sensible: always do the right thing.
Sensitive: it cares about the feelings of other people.
Vain: cares about it physical appearance to much.

PHRASAL VERBS
Tell of: talk angrily.
Turn to: ask someone for some advice.
Make up: solve problems.
Fall out: quarrel.
Pick on: annoy someone.
Look up to: admire someone.

TALKING ABOUT ANIMALS:
Handler: a person who trains animals.
Kitten: cat's cub
Cub: a little animal.
Furry: an animal with a lot of hair.
Endangered animal: an animal that may be desapear.

ENGLISH UNIT 6

VERBS ENVIRONMENT:

Bury: put the rubbish in the ground.
Destroy: completely damage. 
To dump: to release or throw down in a large mass.
Poison: contaminate.
Pollute: to make unfit or harmful to living things.
Protect: stop dying out.
RRR: reduce, reuse and recycle.

ADJECTIVES TECHNOLOGY:


Automatic: self-regulating. 
Convenient: suited or favorable to one's needs.
Efficient: that works good.
Fixed: stationary.
Heavy: that weighs a lot.
High-quality: that is good.
Manual: the opposite of automatic, operated by hand.
Portable: the opposite of fixed.
Time-consuming: it takes you a long time.
Reliable: you can depend on it.

DAY TO DAY WAYS TO PROTECT THE ENVIRONMENT

  • Take shorter showers. Don’t waste water while taking a bath or brushing your teeths. Also, when you are drinking water, don’t throw the amount left in the glass, water your plants instead.
  • Everything that can be recycled, must be recycled.
  • If you do have space around your house, plant as many saplings as you can.
  • Cycling or using public transport.
  • You have tons of clothes or things you want to get rid of. If they are still usable, give them to someone who needs them.
  • Don't throw trashes everywhere. Use different containers.
  • When you leave the room, make sure that all the lights, fans and air conditioners are switched off.

SELF-ASSESSMENT

My gretest strength is  grammar and the weaknesses are translate. Outside the class I have heard songs  in english and I have seen videos in english of geography on internet. In class and in the blogs I have learned many things like countries (kenya, Sri Lanka, Philippines, Cameroon...) and also everyday things. I have improved in listening. I have studied more tan the other term.  I liked the dynamics of the clases.
